Tingster &
The Coyotitos

Post-apocalyptic folklore meets cyberpunk grit. Out of the Utah high desert, on the long road to what remains of Mexico City.

The bandBio

Tingster & The Coyotitos is an alternative rock act produced by Kevin "Tingster" Tingey, a retired police officer and licensed ham radio operator (K7TNG), out of the Utah high desert. You can hear it in the songs: static, signals, and transmitters still running in empty rooms.

Each release is a dispatch from a world after the Fall. There was no single apocalypse; the world came apart through accumulated choices. The covers show where the music lives: a lone coyote under a ruined satellite dish in Signal in the Dust, a climber over burning cities in Negotiating Gravity, and a crimson-lit galleon at a curfew-city dock under green aurora in Red Vector Sol.

Walking through it all is Sol Coyotl, the Sun Coyote. He isn't a hero or a prophet, just a witness who mourns humanity and often admires it.

When the world forgets what it means to live, the coyotes remember.
